Maybe $400?

I should elaborate:

In road cycling, things that are outdated are practically worthless. This can be good for people who want a nice ride but don't care about having the newest technology. It can be hard to price some of the older stuff, since for $300-400 you can buy a barely used Trek 1000 or Specialized Allez which is only a couple years old. For people who race, that is probably the route they are going to take.

As far as this particular bike is concerned, most people place a somewhat unreasonable value on older Bianchis. I mean older as in like 10, 15 years old. I saw someone trying to sell a similar bike for $800 on Cleveland's craigslist...and a guy I know who sells bikes out of his garage won't even part with his, though he doesn't ride it. Personally I think the color of that bike is awesome and I'm used to downtube friction shifters, but I still wouldn't pay a ton.

depending on market, 300-500?

Yep, although they tend to fetishize a few select kinds of "vintage" bikes and pay too much for them.

Definitely worth $200.

On eBay it could fetch up to $600.

P.S. the seatpost is junk.

Bianch Strada mid-80s for a buy it now price of $249 (http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-BIANCHI-Strada-LX-Campione-1986-87-21-18-Speed_W0QQitemZ190143560749QQihZ009QQcategoryZ98084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Another Bianchi that'll get around $250-300 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bianchi-Road-Bike-61-cm-Shimano_W0QQitemZ280143937764QQihZ018QQcategoryZ98084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

women's bike that might go to $400 or more (http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-BIANCHI-LIMITED-STREET-RACING-BIKE-20-FRAME_W0QQitemZ150151941249QQihZ005QQcategoryZ98084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Another that might go to $400 (http://cgi.ebay.com/BIANCHI-Sella-italia-Sport-SX-14-Speed-Road-Bike_W0QQitemZ130144156951QQihZ003QQcategoryZ98084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

We need more information than one picture. Is there a name for the bike? Are there any tubing decals? (Columbus SL or Bianchi Special) What are the components? Is the bottom bracket Italian or English?

If you were to sell it on eBay, most definitely get rid of that seatpost. I'm guessing it's a late 80's to early 90's Japanese made Bianchi. Worth ~$150-250. eBay is mad crazy over Bianchis though. Especially the Celeste ones. Especially if the ad says "Perfect for fixie"

$200. That's a good deal. You may want to change some stuff out but that looks road worthy already. Check over the frame real carefully for cracks and evidence of damage, buckling etc.

The frame looks really nice.

and the grip tape and tires look very clean. that's usually a good sing )not ridden, or at least maintained)

I like it, too. Seems in real good condition, and has otherwise a lot going for it.

you can get a mid 80's neuvo racing for <$300 if you are patient. While a bit older it's a substantially nicer bike. Those look like exage brake levers and there really weren't many technological improvements in dt shifted bikes in that time.

Given the saddle, seatpost, and pedals I say $200 is acceptable if you need a road bike now but if not I wouldn't go above $150.

Remember just because it wasn't ridden doesn't mean the brake pads, cables and housings don't need to be replaced.

A non-bianchi with similar components would be worth $150-$200 or so around here. The Bianchi name will get you closer to $300 but that color and the saddle/seatpost is going to hurt you.

If you buy it you can be in my purple Bianchi club:
