I don't normally venture outside the Toronto thread so please excuse me if I forget that I've even posted this and don't respond quickly if at all, but I wanted to quickly share a project bike that some friends of mine recently completed in conjunction with Adidas Canada & Marinoni;

A couple more pics here (http://makergo.com/shutup/?p=105) if anyone is interested.

Adidas knows who to partner with... and the paintjob is pretty tight too.

Nice. I wonder what it'd look like w/ a blue rear wheel.

I hate to resurrect old threads but this bad boy is finally being auctioned off. If I didn't just build a new bike I would bid on it. Very sweet bike for a great cause.

Beautiful bike. I'm planning on ordering a Marinoni this summer. Any idea how much stock pista cronos run for?
Once I finish school and get back to working full-time I'm calling in and setting it all up.

$795 currently at La Bicicletta in Toronto. After looking for a nice track frame, I think I'm going to order a steel Marinoni Pista this week.

oddly enough I could see it might be useful on a bike polo fixed... not to go OT, but any pics?

That was my thinking, it looks like a re-badged Fuji Track Pro. Is it?

I'd like to see M's non-chrono pista done up like that...

Awesome, that's a lot more reasonable than I thought. A girl I know who races track has the basic pista and it is a great bike. She talks really highly of the bike and company.

Going to check out bicletta for sure, heading up to Toronto in a couple weeks after finals are done.

yes, the stripes are painted and yes they have the zigzag cut to them like the marinoni, plus the other side says 'samba' in gold.

i want to repaint it with that same fade, but in white/pink.

Somebody has said it before, but that Samba bike needs some Gatorskins to complete "the look."
