Commuting - Good Bike Speaker Logitech mm28

Found this on a deals forums & bought it because my PDA speaker wasn't cutting it & because I feel headphones are too risky. This thing is a huge improvement & works well up to 70% volume which is fairly loud on a road with light traffic. It's also decently small measuring at 12"x4"x1" & runs on 4 AA's which should last a week of commuting. The only tricky part is decing how to mount it especially since the front panel is a functioning part of the speaker. A handlebar bag would probably be best for the effect, but right now I have it on my pannier.

I saw this speaker also on sale for $29 delivered from Amazon and figured I would give it a try. It should be on my door step in the next day or two. I assume I'll try to mount it to a handle bar bag. Does anyone know of a handle bar bag that has a net section at the top of it?

I would think its cheaper to use the "telephone operator" type of headphones... you don't put them on your head, you put them around your neck and set the volume to hear it... you can still hear ambient traffic noise and you have a nice "background" kind of music setup...

I just bought that same speaker for the tandem.
I think I can bungie it to the rack in front of the rack bag.

Supposed to run for 40 hours on the batteries.
It arrived last night. Sounds pretty good for a portable speaker.

I didnt get the $5 deal. I always hear about that stuff right after I buy something. :)
