Hermes and Velodiva are "throwing down the gauntlet" to all you tandem teams out there - you know who you are (DBC Steve and Cornucopia72 and others). Join us on Sept. 1 for the Beat the Clock Canada Road Time Trial (9.7 miles). It is a great fundraiser for the Lance Armstrong Foundation to fight cancer and a lot of fun. Details and registration information is available at http://scaledup.com/beattheclock/locationCan.html. So far the Cgallagh and Red Rider team, and the Smoooth/SO team have accepted the challenge. After the time trial, we can have a "tandem peloton" ride out to Peet's in Los Altos Hills and back.
