Twenty six years ago today, I married the love of my life and have been blessed ever since. She is the mother of my two wonderful children and an inspiration to me all these years. She is beautiful, strong, intelligent, fun, caring, loving, competitive, funny, sexy, the best stoker a guy could have and the best thing that ever happened to me.

Deborah, (aka Red Rider) you make me complete.

Happy Anniversary Girl Friend.

Same story for me, coming up on 34 years. I still look at her sometimes and wonder how I got so lucky. Congratulations.

Congratulations! She sounds like my wife, who by my own admission, is shockingly smarter than I am.
We are lucky men.

Lucky indeed. Married for 24+ years (together for 28)
I started writing a song for the Mrs... never got very far beyond:
"You know I want to kill you more than half the time but god how you light up a room"

She's stubborn, headstrong, and feisty -sometimes downright contentious- beyond belief
But she takes care of me like nobody's business and I wouldn't give her up for anything.
Hm... didn't I just say that about my Brooks in another post?

Congrats! I am at 27 years, and very glad of it! My husband doesn't ride with me, but he is happy that I like it so much.

You're my new best friend. ;)

Indeed I was a child bride...

I'm as crazy for that guy now as I was when we married. I'm so lucky!

Congrats to all you successful marriages. I gave it up after 29 years. It would be good to experience a great relationship; however, I now know what Dr. King meant when he said, "Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almight I'm free at last."

As a lawyer who formerly did divorces, married for 25 years to a practicing divorce lawyer,I know the work it takes to make a marriage work and both the heartache and joy that divorce can bring. I also know the loneliness the divorced and widowed older person can suffer, frequently silently. In honor of cgallagh's wife and long marriage, how about pledging to reach out this weekend to an older person and take 'em for a ride, or a walk, or just stop by for a visit.

Congrats to you on your anniversary! It warms the cockles of my heart to hear a husband speak so highly of his wife. That is truly refreshing. Wishing you many more years of marital bliss.

How sweet, you posted her a note on the 50+ group of the BikeForums site! And they say romance is dead. :D
