Somehow I doubt you can do a 360 barspin seatgrab the first day. I've been riding for a bit longer and I can't 360 or barspin.

I think he meant the bar doing a 360 while he grabs his seat.

Do you take everything literally?
ya, like spin the bar around, its kind of easy. is that a good bike.i can do it going slow. i can do that and ride a manual for like 8 inches, and get the first thing of a fire hydrant, but cant sweing the bike around, i guess that will come with practice.
oh and how many points do u have at ipodsweepstakes, ive been doing that for a while, and got 2 shuffles and a video for my mom for mothers day.
now im at 750 trying for a shuffle for a freind of the family.
i wish i could bunny hop, ive read how to do it, but i just cant get the back tire off the ground.
sorry to seem noobish, but im new to bmx riding street

I've got 950ish points. I'm too lazy to do it a lot. I just want something so I can sell it for some money for parts.
theres easyier sites to do, that pay a lot higher, like myfavefreebies or cashchute. you can get paid by check or paypal. ive done quite a few diffrent sites and have made around 1400 paypal and around 400 in giftcards. if you get a prepaid visa card for 25 you can get around 200 in gift cards.
sorry to go off topic, but me and 2 of my friends just got new bmx bikes and really dont know where to start

You should go ride your bike instead of being here.

That didn't answer the question. The point was, it was a joke.
You should go ride your bike instead of being here.
Why are you online then? If you are going to criticize someone, then don't be doing the exact same thing that you are criticizing someone else for. Some people don't ride their bikes 24/7. Being that it's almost 8:00, it's dark out, and he's probably relaxing. He also happens to be crippled...

It has the same material that some of the Eastern bikes have, except less holes.

the easiest way to learn how to bunny hop is to ride straight at whatever you're trying to jump. you either crap yourself and make it or stack and give up trying - either way problem solved.

Or you could think of it like a skateboard ollie.

I don't even know what to say to the last two responses, other than that's just why BMX riders are known for being stupid and doing stupid things. First off, the riding right at something doesn't really work until you can actually get your bike off the ground. Then Fuzzbox, an ollie on a skateboard and a bunnyhop on a bike are worlds apart.

Well if you think about it the concept is the same if you've ever done it. You pop the front up and slide your foot up and your back comes up. On a bike you pull the front up and do some foward action thing and your back comes up.

You realize that concept works for everything, right? You are using completely different muscles and body parts. Hopping a bike is also a much more dramatic motion.

Obviously. I didn't say the same as in everything, just the movements of the board and bike.

My gosh, we've got our high pants on today...
It's not difficult to grasp the concept of bunny hopping - pretty much anyone who rides a bmx can visualise the way it's supposed to work i.e. not brain surgery. Actually doing it is an entirely different thing. Often the harder you try, the more difficult it is, hence my point.

No, the high pants are not on. It's just a matter of common sense. Riding at something is only going to get you hurt unless you have the ability and the wherewithal to actually hop over it. It will only get you more discouraged.

With all due respect fitrider, I'm sure someone who can 360 barspin has the wherewithal to bunny hop :p

360 barspins while standing on the back pegs are dumb. I used to think they were cool, till I learned the real flatland barspin. And now I'm working on my 720 barspins. :D

:roflmao: that picture is awesome W.T.P
the way i learned to bunnyhop some years ago was to use speed bumps.....
use the bump to get the front tire up...and once its up pull your legs and arms up...like, lifting the bike.
after you can do it that way, doing it without any bumps for assistance should come just as easy..

Thats essentially how I learned, 'cept I used a hockey stick instead.

i used where driveways go up.
got the bunny hop, now working on a barspin without grabing the seat then moving to the pedals
i can bunny hop all of 2 inches now, but am working on gettin harder
You could try learning the bar hop next. It's not that hard or anything, just kinda scary when you first try it.
