It's on sale right now while it lasts. Actually $134!
I was confused until I realized the sale is with REI Outlet, not the regular store.

Hmm, now I have to weigh this option against a Henessey Hammock. The SH2 is basically the same price with the sale.

Be careful. The above is for the Seedhouse 2 (list US$199)...NOT the Seedhouse SL2 (list US$319). (SL = superlight) Both good tents.

Comment on the Hennessy Hammock....
I used it a year or so ago on the C&O towpath. Its great, lightweight, comfortable, easy to put up and take down. But you have no place at all for gear if you are used to even a 2 man tent. Any remember, you'd better camp where there are trees.

Yeah, the REI price is pretty good, but not super good. However, it is REI and I'm sure you could return the tent if you hate it, so looking at overall value-- the REI deal is sweet. I can't remember what the weight differance between the Seedhouse 2 and Seedhouse SL2 is-- less than 2 pounds I think, not a lot.
The trouble with light gear is that it's so crazy high priced-- but spend the money and it's possible to cut a pound off your sleeping bag, a pound and a half off your tent, ect.... and your camping gear is under 20 lbs! Superlite gear is so much easier on your bike and knees than the heavy stuff.
