Mountain Biking - Will these forks work?

I was wondering if someone could answer this for me. I will be receiveing a 2003 model Rocky Mountain Flow in pieces to be built from the ground up. I just ordered these forks. Now I know that the tube size needs to be 1 1/8" which this fork is my question is on the st.(sorry still a newbie forgot the term for the part where it goes into the top by the handle bars that's the initials for whatever that is called....is it called the steering trim???). This particular model does not include shims in case it needs to be enlarged to fit....now it can always be cut if too long. The guy on the phone was pretty certain it would work. I really hope so these are some nice forks I hear and got a good deal on them. Either way there is a 30 day return policy so I can always just return them. No that's the one I ordered. There is only one fork on that link. I worded my topic wrong should have said "will this "Fork work".

ok then. it looks like it is a new fork so the steerer tube should be uncut. Meaning, it should be plenty long enough for your headtube.

In addition, there are no shims or anything that really work to extend the steerer tube length. If it's too short you are S.O.L. so be carefull when you cut it.

Hey that's the fork I'm buying! How was jenson on the shipping? ........now I just need to save up again (new bike), cause I'd rather use my cash off hand than from my bank. (wanna keep it topped up) hehe:D

Well I just ordered them yesterday shipping to Louisiana from California standard ground was $10.00. Excellent customer service it shipped out the same day...even called me to let me know. This seems like a great deal to me for people on budgets looking for good deals.:D

Wheelworld has some good deals on fork too ... a Marzocchi 888Vf 170mm for 299.00 .... gerat price ... but I dont need it :p
