My German is a little rusty(non-existant) but near as I can tell local racer Sandra Kolb (Bicycle John's)is in first palce in the Masters World Championship going into this weekends final and decisive stage. You go girl!!!!

As suspected I had it all wrong from the German website. Talked to Sandra last night. The event was three seperate races. Her first race was in the World Cup and she WON! Huge trophy , a medal, and a world champions jeresey. Second race was the TT and she finished 6th, medium size trophy, and the final race was the World Championships where she was in the bunch sprint, got into a blocked position and finished sixth. She had a chance to take it, felt she was the strongest rider in the bunch, had good postion at 300 meters but got blocked by a couple of slower girls and lost too much swinging around them. A liitle dissapointed about the outcome but overall a great trip. By the way Irene's Cannondale was stolen form the security area in their hotel. Bummer.
