Well, I know it's not a GREAT bike, but it's okay I think. For paying $150 total, tell me if you think that's what it's worth, or do you think it's worth more.

It's a Mongoose Extreme Air, with a Redline 3 peice flight crank, and redline dual wide bars.

Do you think this is an okay bike, or would you justify it as complete junk.

A pic would help us better judge it.
But typically, bikes with names like "Extreme Air" aren't usually considered "good"
And Redline, while not complete junk, slaps the name "Flight" on a lot of their parts. Some good, some not so much.

No. I dont have a picture.. I'll get one.. But, it's beaten up right now. I got the bike at walmart, and then found a bike that somone didn't know what it is. My dad ( todd harris ) used to race pro bmx, and he knew what it was, so we got it for dirt cheap.

well while not everything that comes from walmart is complete garbage I rode a walmart bike to and from school for several years without any gripes they don't scream quality either. but yeah a photo would help in judging.

If you intend on doing anything aside from riding to and from school on a WalMart bike, then you're wrong.

Well seeing that nothing really actually shows up when it's Googled, probably isn't that great.

Any bike would work fine if you did that.

Does the bike do what you need it to do? Then it should be fine (until you break it) and then you replace what ever broke.

i wouldnt call it a complete piece of junk. actually, for $150 it actually performs decently. my little brother has one and i too thought it was junk, but i rode it hard for about 4-5 hours on rocky, fast trails without much trouble, aside from the floppy kickstand, hand-killing stock grips (ouch), and very weak brakes. the only mod i did to it today is taking the stock front rim and tire off and adding my gt mach one setup to the front, making it want to stick much better in the dirt over stock. i would reccomend changing out both wheels and tires before you do any serious jumps etc. the rear stock one seemed quite flimsy, and made some unhealthy noises under big shocks or loads.
