I have a few fun ideas for bike parts in the kitchen: trivets made of chainrings, a papertowel holder from a cinelli handlebar with a wooden dowel , ball bearings as 'pie weights' , etc. Any ideas from you kids out there, to add to mine?

Disc rotors glued on top of a round sheet of cork make excellent hot food pads. Especially nice if they have lots of fancy cooling holes and slots.

Water bottle holders can be installed in car or truck.

Disc rotors, then MM, would be the same as chainrings, as a 'trivet' is a very technical term for 'hot pad' ;)

I dig those cog cassette candles!!!!

You use it to adjust your spoke nipples.

I have a few different size bearings in my old "Spice Island" jars.... 3/16...1/4 ....etc....

I kind of like the look of kitchen/bikeshop hybrid....

I manufacture rubber bands from an old 26" tube. Just snip off a ring of the desired width to equal desired strength. Its a fine art.

I have been thinking of making a wind chime with the dork discs I have laying around.
