well, this is my daily photoblog

.pretend photography. (http://josephbuffett.wordpress.com)

I'm a noob but I enjoy it thouroughly. I have been getting the odd job here and there and things are going better. I've been selling prints like crazy lately. Which is great, because any hobby that can pay back (even slightly) towards itself is fantastic.

Anywho, give it a glance. There is a new photo posted every single day. Feel free to keep checking back :)

Looks good. Nice photos.

Looks very good from what I've seen, I'll have to look more closely when I finish with my firewood project.

Selling prints interests me, how does that work? I know there's stuff about it on Deviantart but I don't know much about it. I'd absolutly love to have my favorite hobby result in some income :D

I haven't been able to actually sell any prints through my site. I've basically been selling most of the prints to people in our local car club. I often get asked to shoot a members car and they usually order a few prints. I also go to most of the St. Lawrence Autocross club events and manage to sell alot of the event photos that I shoot to the members. It's funny, I don't really enjoy taking photos of cars, but it tends to bring in a little cash on the side

Where is that driving range? Rock quarry? Where do you hit to and what are those greens out in the pond? You hit into the water? How deep is that?
That **** looks sweet.

lol yeah it's pretty sweet! it's an old quarry. From my understanding, it's really deep. Thye have a modded pontoon boat that goes out and collects the balls...they obviously float. I have never, in all the times I have been there, hit an island.....I suck so feircly

lol
It takes a lot of practice

I was wondering about the golf balls
If they didn't float a bucket would have to cost about $25

Do the balls stick to the greens? I've seen stuff like that for pools but that's like a full 100 yards, I assume
50/100/150?

That's cool, man
Is that anywhere near Toronto?

vanno

it's near Toronto if you consider a 2.5-3 hour drive to be near T.O...it's in Kingston. But on the plus side, there are some pretty decent trails (and some sweet road riding I'm told) here as well....may be worth the trip

Forget that, dude. That's way at the other end of the lake. Maybe when I'm 35 or something.

Keep up with the photography
Ever checked out photosig? probably the best critique type site if you're into that at all.

Hit some balls
