Feel free to pm me ahead of time, and if you ever need a place to stay, room to sleep in, bathroom to do your business, driveway/hose/supplies to wash/wax/detail your car/bike/significant other, food to eat, water to drink, etc., etc. -

Seriously - I know there are folks that drive far for a ride that starts at Encanto Park, etc. - I'm less than 10 minutes away by car. If you ever need to crash here the night before the ride or postride, you're more than welcome to come, if you don't mind hanging out with me and my family.

Just a passing thought as I was riding with roadfix, worker4youth, spingineer, and Dale? this morning from TJ's in So.Pas to Arcadia - met many great people on this forum, and just wanted to offer up some hospitality should anyone ever need it.

And please note that I said "casa," and not "cama" ;)

Honestly. Luwin and family are good people. I have only met Luwin twice but the generosity of him and his family is amazing. When we did Back to the Beach II, Luwins wife and daughter drive all the way to Long Beach to not only bring us lunch but they prepared it too!

I haven't done Montrose in about a year and a half-- I'd rather sleep in a little and go ride by myself than drag myself out of bed on time to get to TJ's by 8:30. I think it's also ended up making me a lot faster-- sitting in just isn't a lot of work, and going to the front and pushing it isn't what I really want to do on my road rides.
