Wanted to see who was out riding in the area this weekend as I saw quite few folks riding in and around Potter Rd and Hwy 75. Shout out if you were out there Saturday and today.

Lester Davis to Cuthberson, to 16 to Waxhaw, (breakfast stop at Bo) out Waxhaw/Marvin across tracks to 75, dirt road up to Richardson/King, out to 521, up to Henry Harris, right on Kensington, past sewer plant, back up Cuthberson, Lester Davis, 16, Deal Rd, Twelve Mile, Beulah Church, Weddington Rd, and a cold drink at the house. Did I see you? I waved at a group on Beulah Church, and I saw a rider on 84.

Perhaps your group was split by a car and regrouping on Crow Rd at Old Waxhaw Hwy? I was riding toward Mineral Springs on Old Waxhaw Highway and waved to a few of you. I was afraid some cyclists would be hit when coming across the intersection without stopping for that car.:eek: But probably the car wasn't as close as it looked from my perspective.:rolleyes:

Perhaps your group was split by a car and regrouping on Crow Rd at Old Waxhaw Hwy? I was riding toward Mineral Springs on Old Waxhaw Highway and waved to a few of you. I was afraid some cyclists would be hit when coming across the intersection without stopping for that car.:eek: But probably the car wasn't as close as it looked from my perspective.:rolleyes:

Makes me chuckle, you other guys must have better eyes than I do. I'm lucky I see the biker, let alone his/her kit, frame, etc. I was wearing a Serotta jersey, on a Serotta, fancy that?

WW We were on Niven then 521, up to Henry Harris this morning around 8:45 to 9:15. We stopped to pee at the entrance to the new road on the left as you turn onto Niven......:D

That was before I got there, Finished the ride today at 11:15 so I was Niven and 521 about 10:15a.

I went thru the Potter/75 zone by myself around 7:30 or so on Saturday morning. Met a group of 12-14 over at Bolt Bros shop in Waxhaw. They did a 50 mile ride - actually, I only did about 42 with them before bonking and getting spit out the back!
There where a lot of cyclists coming and going on Saturday, both riding and driving around with bikes on their cars - the Dirt Divas had an MS150 warm-up going ride out of Waxhaw Elementary.

There seems to be some kind of group riding out of the Bolt Brothers shop in downtown Waxhaw around 8:00 on most any weekend morning. Some groups are pretty fast, driven by active racer types. Some have a more moderate pace. I would just ask when you get there.

Ask for Will, John or Perry at Bolt Bros. for route info. One of them might even join you on a mid day ride.

During the week, there are often groups leaving Waxhaw around 6:00 in the evening. Right now, the particular small group of hammerheads I've been riding with are going out Mondays and Wednesdays, but that can change. Last Thursday there was quite a large group, in addition to us.
