I reached the first major goal I had set for myself when I started riding again (just three weeks ago!) on Saturday; to complete this ride:

Well, not exactly; I live on the route near the start/finish so began and ended at the house, and I rode the loop clockwise, instead of counterclockwise. A bit over 23 miles, with 2050 feet of ascent. I pedalled up the driveway 2 hours and 17 minutes after I left. Then I did pretty much nothing for the rest of the day!

I don't know exactly how far I went, since washboard roads tend to make my GPS shut off. I figure I lost about two miles to them, but since that almost always happens on downhills, I'm pretty sure about the total ascent. I stopped about 18 miles into the ride to eat a granola bar, get a drink, and stretch.

Now I want to do it in under two hours!
