I put it off as long as I could but the time has come to sell my Nitrous. I really didn't want to face reality but after todays mountain bike ride I realized my mtb racing days are over. My knees just can't take it any more.
Anyway, up for sale is a medium 2006 Turner Nitrous mountain bike frame. This is one of the lightest full suspension frames available. This one weighs in at 4.51 pounds including the Fox RP3 shock. This bike is designed to be fast! When I had this bike built up it weighed 22.0 pounds.
This frame does have some scratches, mostly from cable rub. The only real scratch it has other than cable rub is a scrape on the downtube and some scratches on the chainstay from the chain and some on the seat stays from my shoe. I have included pictures showing everything except for the chain stays and the seat stays, I couldn't get pictures of those.
New this frame costs $1,919. I am selling this one for $800 (or best offer) plus $30 for shipping to the continetal US.
Frame specs:
Travel: 3"
Head Angle: 71°
Seat Angle: 73.5°
Chainstay: 16.65"
BB Height: 12.25"
Seat tube: 17" (center of bb to top of seat tube)
Top Tube: 23.5" (effective c-c)
Standover height: 30"
Head Tube length: 4"
Wheelbase: 42.6"
