you guessed it..thats what I have. I love it and I think for xc where I dont need so much travel its the best feeling fork. Ive gone to bike shop and just sorta played around with more expensive shocks and I really still feel like mine feels the best..does anyone else have the same feeling?

I tried one - it's a good fork for the money, but not as smooth as the MX series. It's made under license by suntour and generally only sold oem but I've seen it around a few places.

The one slick has isnt RST......RST made the 2003's that are absolute crap. Slicks is probabably a 2002 seeing the 2003's are just elastomer poop inside.

I have no idea what I am thinking.....your fork is fine. The fork that is crappy is the plain EXR, not the air. Air is made by marzocchi, plain exr is made by suntour.

Nahh... but I've been riding in the rain/mud for like the last several months, and rebuilding my Headshock just doesn't seem like a good idea. It's only 80 MM of travel. The only thing especially good about it is that it's pretty light. I just think as opposed to having my fork gone for like 3 months while Cannondale services it seems like too much of a hassle only to end up with an inferior fork. I was looking at the Fox Vanilla.. found it online for like 350 bucks. I was thinking I might give it a whirl.. who knows. The fork is still rideable.. just grinds, doesn't travel smoothly.. I'm pretty sure it's fubar'd...

I have a Kona Kahuna Deluxe with an EXR Air and I really like it.
I did have to play the the psi for a while though. The manual stated that I needed 45psi for my wieght, but I usually run around 12psi-15psi. The fork was way to stiff at 45psi. Also, the EXR Comp is the fork not made by Marz. U can find this out at mtbreview.com. A lot of people were bagging the EXR, not realizing that they actually had a comp and not the air or coil.

There is some bad information about the EXR forks - there are 2 regular EXR forks, air and coil versions; plus the EXR Comp, which is the elastomer fork. The Comp is not a good fork. The EXR air and coil forks are good value for the money. By the way, I have the coil version and love it. I think all the EXR forks are designed by Marzocchi, but built in Taiwan by Suntour.
