Bicycle Mechanics - Squeaky mechanical disc brakes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
i have a hardrock pro disc. Recently I've been getting some loud sqeaking when i feather my rear brake. It doesnt make the noise if I apply the brake completely. Also. I've cleaned the rotor thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and it didnt seem to do anything. I tried tightening my brake cable down on the disc brake side as well and nothing. All the bolts seem tight down there as well. The bike has about ~150 miles on it, so I'm not sure if maybe i need a new brake pad? Im not much of a bike a tech so any helpful hints would be appreciated.

My mechanical disc brakes squeeled pretty badly (although it was all the time) until I spent a few minutes and got the alignment between the caliper/pads and disc as perfect as my eyesight allowed. They are silent now.
