Welcome to last year.
The best "car vs." race I've seen was in Paris, run by Top Gear (the UK motoring show) where the guy in the car was beaten by a couple of people on foot. They did a parkour/free-running thing, over buildings etc

It's unfair. The driver made wrong turns and is not that skillful. If one puts Michael Schmacher and or a local Cabbie, the result will be different.
Anyway, it's a mighty cool video. Most of us ride the bike not because it can get there faster, but it's much more beneficial and fun.

Opposite for me. I ride purely for efficiency. Dirtjumps are way too slow to do on foot.
I was in the context of a typical urban commute scenario. I'm not sure dirtjumps is a standard maneuver in an urban situation.
For argument's sake, you can dirt jump with a dirt motorcycle as well.

I remember my freshman year of college I worked with 3 or 4 guys that lived in the same campus apartment complex as me. We'd always get done with work between 5 and 6 and I'd beat them the 3 mile home everyday on my beater huffy 10 speed. Gotta love rolling past 2 blocks worth of backed up traffic :D
