The several upgrades Yan has delivered in 2008 adding value. Pedal upgrades, etc. There's a long list at Yan's products site not tleast of which are the cables.
mikee would also like to point out that web-based bikes are hurting the roadie Potentates like Trek too. GOTO http://www.pedalforce.com to get some carbon eyecandy––not that one NEEDS carbon.
I have two 2008 DTs on order (H8 and FS8)...pining away but no hurry. Planning my trips ... drawing my maps. BTW you really MUST visit JUR's signature links for his trip to Tasmania on folders. He used a Raleigh 20 and an unknown brand. Cool stuff. His wife gaining confidence as the trip progressed was wonderful to see.
I LOVE the silver H8 but I'm looking for a front basket so my copilot can join me. Already have an especially Kewell padded mover's cover with bungee to wrap with. Neighbors will think it's another art sculpture piece.
