My name is Brian. Most of you have the benefit of already having met it seems, so I'll be the guy with the deer-in-the-headlights look Sunday morning.

Chris and Deborah, on the hot Co-Motion tandem. We've met Smooooth and Sassy, ScottMorrison{insert#here), DBC Steve, Steve E, Hermes & Velodiva. From the looks of things we'll be meeting many other BFers on Sunday.

We're eagerly anticipating the meetings and the rides. See you Sunday!

Sorry guys, but my pulled hip flexor means I'm definitely out. Have a great time and take lots of pictures!

Then bust out the Ducati and escort and SAG for us! hehe! :p j/k! Hope you get better soon!

FYI - looks like weather coming our way, but all the forecasts I've looked at show it gone by Sunday.

Hopefully it takes the wind away with it. This mornings commute into a headwind was tough.

Yeah - the wind was moving pretty good all night and this morning. Made it easy to bag my morning ride and sleep in. :D

The weather-head on tv said it was windy because the storm system is pushing down from the north.

Hi Brian,
My name is Jack and if I show up at the start of the century ride, I'll be staring at the same headlights that you are staring at :D

Hey, good news, everyone! We got SAG for the ride! AzureDrpTp has kindly volunteered to perform that duty for us. He won't be on duty until after 9am, but that'll be plenty good.

I'll make sure that we have tools, tubes and first aid kit in the SAG car. I will hand out AzureDrpTp's phone number to all riders at the start of the ride.

This storm caught up with me about 20 miles away from home yesterday. You didn't miss anything by staying in.

Let me know if you get the approval. I may need you to pick up the tools and first aid kit from my house in HMB to hand off to Azure.

Thanks,

Alan

Alan/Thien,

Sorry guys... the "boss" denied my request for extra time off. Looks like I'll only be able to meet you at HMB for the ride back down to Santa Cruz. Plus We'll be up in the Vallejo area until early Sunday morning. :(

Hi SC, there is a good chance that I will be at the start of the century with a couple of friends.
Thanks..

Ha I just noticed that by pure coincidence I'm riding a grey bike with a black jersey and pants. Talk about lo-vis and prone to getting hit by a distracted driver...good thing I'm not riding alone or at night.

How did I miss this?!

I would go, but my Spyder is down (killed the transmission).

I would probably "bail" at Tunitas Creek and head home

Anyone have an extra spot on their rack??? ;)

Well, I'm heading out shortly to catch the second leg. I still don't have a ride back, but hey, worst case is I have to make my first half-century into a first full century to get back to my car... :p

Just grab onto Alan's car door and we'll pull you back! hehe!

I'm about to head out soon too so I'll see you guys at HMB at about 11am-ish since they are getting their at about 11:30.

Sassy and I had a great time riding with everyone today. Got to ride on some new roads - Gaza Creek Road? Met lots new people. We got a great workout at the pace our group was at :D Sesame - Thanks again for putting this together. Hope to ride with you guys again soon.

We are doing the wine and cheese century on October 14th on the tandem. So if anyone wants to hitch a ride with us - come on down :) Look for the post if you are interested in joining us.

Hope you all had a great time, I went to a concert last night and didn't get home until almost 1, so there was no way I was going to make it there at 8...

Smooth/Sassy - did you guys finish with a sub 5 hour time?

Thanks Alan for leading the ride. Rolling to Santa Cruz was really cool. Of course since I only did half the ride my legs were a bit more fresh than those that did the full ride! hehe! It was good to meet everyone!

I hope bigbossman got back okay. I know we took off not long after he got to HMB.

Thien - Thanks for the SAG and takin' pics!

And thanks Angel for driving me back!
