I'm very interest in riding a SS soon, I ride my mtn bike all over and want more a challenge for short rides or lazy afternoons.
My question is should I refit my old Bridgestone MB5 frame, or should I start from scratch with a inexpensive frame using some parts from the Bridgestone?
My budget is very limited that is why I am looking to reuse parts that I have.

I say keep the Bridgestone frame and build up from there!

if your current frame is suitable for building a fixed, there's no reason why you should get a new one... unless you hate your current frame or something.

A lot of Bridgestones have vertical dropouts, if yours has these you will need to use a tensioner of some kind (A rear der will work).

I like the rear mech conversion...not too many of those around these days

Sounds like I'll replace the BB as is creaks like a screaming child and get a chain tensioner...
I saw some one some where used an old chain ring as a tensioner, I'll see what I can do with the one that i have it should look pretty good...
Thanks for the input
