I'm not finding anything for the upcoming weekend. I'd like to ride one of the 3 days. Anyone know of an organized ride this weekend not too far from Chicago.

Anyone want to organize one?:p Anything? Crystal

In Southern Illinois....I'm going to do a solo century from Robinson, IL to Evansville, IN on Sunday morning....my better half will be driving down there later in the day...we're spending the night and she's flying out on Monday morning...so, I'll do some more recovery riding on Monday afternoon before driving back to Robinson. That's my game plan for Labor Day weekend riding.

*sigh* ...fresh outta bananas.

Something along the Randall/47 corridor would be good. Did anyone check my schedule? Is there something on it for this weekend?

I will be up in Ingleside (near Wauconda) over the weekend and would love to find something close to there. Otherwise, I may drive down to my usual Elgin ride on Saturday at 6AM.

The Kenosha-Racine bike club is having a metric century on Monday.

Alma’s Metric Century Ride - Alma Razo will lead a metric century (62 miles) this Monday, September 3, 2007. Alma Razo will lead a touring speed metric century (62 miles). Alma will have maps and cue sheets. Speeds will range from 14 – 18 mph and riders will re-group at major intersections so no one is left behind. If enough riders of various speeds show up, the riders can split into a fast group and a touring group. There will NOT be a scheduled leisure contingent. The ride will leave the parking lot at the south entrance to Petrifying Springs County Park (PETs) in Kenosha, WI at 8:00 AM sharp. To find the parking lot at PETs, take Highway 31 to JR east. JR is south of A and north of E on 31. Travel on JR about 3/4 of a mile until you reach the parking lot on the left side of the road past the south entrance to Pets. If the parking lot is blocked off, we will meet inside the park at Parking Area 2 inside the park. To get to this parking lot, enter the south entrance and follow the access road around the bend to Parking Area 2, which will be on the left side of the road.
