Hey guys,

I'm selling my Trek 1000 road bike. Disco coloring. Tiagra components. Carbon fork, carbon seat stay I believe. All parts except pedals are stock.

I'm trying to get more into touring and to be honest, I don't ride this bike as much as I do my mountain bike.

I'm offering it for about 500 but I'm negotiable. 2006, it has about 1500 miles on it. Never crashed, never even fallen over. It does have scratches on the top tube from using a YARIS trunk rack repeatedly.

No carbon seat stays. You don't see carbon seat stays till the 2100.

Does it have braze ons for a rear rack?

It will accept a rear rack.

yeah it has those eyelets for a rear rack. i think you can see them in that picture if you look closely, below the rear brake line. if i don't sell it i'll probably convert it to a touring bike, but it doesn't quite fit me and i would prefer something a bit more comfortable and less racy
