I just love these threads and realized that I have not been a part of one yet! I feel left out. :)

You should keep that finger away from the brake. It has no business being anywhere near it.

Also that light/camera on your helmet is adding weight and drag. You need to get rid of that. It is slowing you down.

And you need a closer shave...very non-aerodynamic!

Name on the top tube...too much weight.

Are those knickers or shorts?

Show some quad, William. Cut 3" off the bottom of your shorts. And even then, those aren't "short shorts" or even close.

Considering the video you shot and your finish, there is no critique to be made of your position. Keep the videos coming.

Oh come on guys, we can come up with something! He needs to be tip-top position when he's forced into the 2s.

Your elbows are pointing out, and your head's too high.

Looks like you're working hard and trying to film something with an imaginary camera on your head.

Seriously though, supple elbows (left-to-right).

Very good upper body position for crits. Compact posture , so you can use your arms to max advantage when sprinting out of the saddle. Hips back, bending in the middle of the back, good aero position.

I'm not going to call you on the finger on the lever because I'm assuming you are using it to shift and not to brake.

In all seriousness, you look like a picture of power. Now upgrade...

Depends on what you are doing, elbows out is great for your jump or sprint. Would like to see the hands a bit more foreword, but looks good. I like the head tilted a little to one side, need to work on the grimace a bit though.

Given your recent racing performances your position seems perfect.

Next question.

Your number is not pinned too well. Though easy to see in a photo finish, it makes checking off numbers harder during the race.;)

And your face should not have more hair on it than your legs.

There's a strange thing on top of your head.

There's a strange thing on top of your head.

It's a camera you doofus! You shouldn't point out people's physical deformities...

...How'd you cut the whole in your helmet to fit your skull camera?

Now, that made me laugh. And yes, I know its not funny to laugh at other's deformities.

Thank you, I needed that post.

I suspect subluxations in your spine.:D

Yeah, improving your posture is to help you go fast.

You don't seem to have that problem.

I think I can improve your position at least 10-fold. Start by sending that frame from a company that hasn't been around that long to me, and I will ship you a frame from Motobecane a legendary name in the cycling world.

I'd say raise your bars about 2" and get a 2-3cm longer stem. That'll let you bend your elbows to absorb more road-shock and have more comfort. You'll also be able to tuck them in and not have them be out in the wind so much and they won't hit your knees. Having your arms aimed forward more will open up your chest for better breathing. Have fun! :)

You might consider towing a piano to make if fair for the other riders Will. Seriously.

There's fast and there's 'who IS that guy?' fast. You are the latter.

just curious...why the cam on the helmet instead of the bars? would be lower but more stable.

More stable and a great view of everyone's arse. I don't know that this is true, but having the top of the hemlmet seems to show the depth of the pack rather than just the guy in front.

Yep. Good observation.

He could be faster.
