I'm planning to be there on Sunday. I will be in Clemson that weekend anyway and was going to cruise up to Greenville for the Road Race. Be cool to meet up with some folks. :)

I will be there. I live 2 miles from the start finish in downtown. Where are you all planning on watching the race? I havent decided if I am going to stay in the Cleveland park area or head up to Paris.

no clue yet where I'm going to be. All I know is I am leaving Columbia by 9:30 and headed that way.

Any suggestions on where we could meet up??

I'll be there before noon, but, with USC having a 7 pm game the night before, I can't make it up to actually ride the course that morning.

The foothills cyclist club is having a open party about 1/2 way up Paris on altamont. It is $8 or bring a dish. I am considering that as an option. They close the road to cars at 11AM I think, so if you are riding up, then the $8 would probably be the better option

Maybe we can get more excitement behind the race and more people interested in coming if we start the rumor that Miss Teen SC 2007 will be there to discuss PED's in professional athletics.

Well, if anyone wants to meet up, post here or or PM me before 10AM Sun morning. I am going to go to the cookout put on by the Foothills club around 12 or so and watch the first couple of laps up Paris, then head back and meet my gf and we will ride to Cleveland Park to watch the closing circuits.

Let me know if you want to meet at the cookout, or in the park perhaps. If not, enjoy your afternoons watching the race.
