I guess everyone shares a little background so here is mine:
I am returning to cycling after a six year layoff. I stopped riding after my Bridgestone RB-1 got stolen in 97. I picked up a Trek 7000 after that, but really couldn't get into it.
Now I have converted the Trek into a commuter and I have been biking to work for about two months. I have the itch to upgrade to a 'real' bike, but that will have to wait until after my wedding in November.
I just discovered these forums a couple of weeks ago, and I love the wealth that is being shared here..

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
