Only 2 days away! Who are your picks for the BCS Championship?

If Texas can keep their defense strong, they will have a real shot. Their schedule isn't too tough, other than Oklahoma and TAMU. USC is ranked number 1, they should be strong as usual. I don't see why they ranked LSU 2nd, who do they plan on replacing Jamarcus Russel with? I'm just happy Notre Dame isn't in the top 25! Can I get an amen?

LSU is ranked that high because the schedule sets up somewhat favorably (most of their tough SEC games are at home this year), they are very talented and have ample opportunity to win points from the pollsters with several marquee games.

I think LSU has a fair chance. It's a long season, though. Any one of them can be a stumbling block.

I don't think they will be in the BCS championship, but I can't wait to see how Wisconsin is going to do this year. I think that even if they win the Big Ten and beat Michigan they wouldn't get the BCS championship invite. Go badgers!

Sadly, I think USC is just too good this year. As for the other spot, West Virginia has an awful lot of talent and a pretty weak schedule. So, the question is, will an undefeated WVU team be ranked ahead of a one-loss team from the SEC (e.g. LSU)?

Whats with all the USC hype? Preseason hype doesn't mean anything, lets see how they fair in their conference and their other big games before declaring them national champs

West Virginia has the best offense in the nation and So Cal the best defense at this stage. Seeing how the season plays out will be interesting.

If anyone watches the A&M game, I'll be there.

My underdog pick is Texas A&M! I grew up in College Station so that would be pretty cool to see them finally get one, at least the Big 12.

unless we beat UGa, it'll be a while before we can crack the rankings. If we do beat UGa, I think we'll break in after week 2.

Bit of a sad fact....Memorial stadium on football Saturday is the third largest city in Nebraska.
