My friend is selling like a 2003 or 2004 Haro Mirra 540 16 inch. I think i may want a 16 inch to screw around on it would be really fun cause i rode 1, one time and i could do almost 360's out of the bowls and stuff, do you think it would be worth $50-$60.

Yea i got it. It's hella sick. It's black, it has hecka skinny tires with some kenda's. I'm trying to decide if i should go brakeless. I'll get some pictures soon.

For $50 I would have bought it, they're pretty fun for tooling around. Brakeless is the way to be on such a small bike though unless you do some techy/trialsy stuff.

Crap. Now to take the time to get the lever off. I don't have anything to get the grip's off, what's an easy way without and air pressorer.

I don't want it to be loose though once i put it back on. How do you do it with water. Haha mine would own yours.

live4muzic2

heawl naw it dont. wd-40 dries also and works like glue.

wethepeople

Ya, thats why you use water.

Pry up underneath it carefully with the screwdriver (use a flathead) and pour some water down it, then remove screwdriver and twist.

OK. Or i can just wait like tommorow and use a air pressorer. Also do you guys know any websites that sell 16 inch stuff? So the decision is brakeless or brakes.

I know of nothing for 16" bikes, try Nahsbar.com or something like that.

Punx
08-29-07, 10:22 PM
Haha. Ok what should i keep the water in?

wethepeople
08-29-07, 10:23 PM
A bottle? anything to pour some water in...

Punx
08-29-07, 10:26 PM
Do you think someone like me would be strong enough to twist it off. Last time it took like 15 minutes...

wethepeople

Use more water, or windex.

Punx

live4muzic2

Punx
08-29-07, 10:32 PM
But like new tires, bar's, cranks, i'm not getting these but just wondering.

Punx
08-29-07, 10:37 PM
Also i was wondering. At the last bike check by Chrisgabriel, one of his bike's seat is like stripped so it's just the plastic. I was wondering if i could do it with this seat. http://www.harobikes.com/bmx/parts_detail.php?group=seats
It's the first one called like the H-Crest.

wethepeople
08-29-07, 10:40 PM
No, to much padding and wrong shape.

Punx
08-29-07, 10:41 PM
What are the cheapest seat's that can do that?

wethepeople
08-29-07, 11:10 PM
Go to danscomp and look at slim seats.

FitRider 921

Just break it off. Brakes are useless.

Punx
08-30-07, 09:11 AM
Haha. I'm trying to decide, i want to try like abubaca's and stuff i can do them on my mountain bike, but i think it would be hella fun on a 16 inch. I took off all the stickers, and put some Dan's Comp stickers.
