Hello to everyone. I'm new to this forum and was wondering should I ask my question here or should I do it in another area?

I have been given a frame and was wondering if I should buy all the components or just buy a new bicycle. The frame seems rare/exotic so the bicycle shops I have been to dont know what it is :confused:

Welcome. If the frame is old post your questions in the Classic and Vintage forum. If it is just unusual, try the Mechanics forum.

If you like the frame and have the patience to comb yard sales and eBay for parts, why not build it up with good used components? I have done this numerous times; it has always been a satisfying experience, but this is especially true with my current Capo rebuild project, because I know what to expect when I am finished.

Can you post pictures? Or is there any badging on the frame? Hopefully there is a good oldschool shop around(somewhere) that can help you, keep looking.
