The Historian and I are planning a Saturday-Sunday tour route of 80 miles or so for for October 6th and 7th. We are looking for other cyclists to join us, so get in touch if you're interested. One day or both, or you can meet up with us along the route. A group of around 5 or 6 cyclists would be good. If you're interested, PM me.

Nobody will be dropped. I think we're looking at an average pace of maybe 11 mph. That's negotiable, and will depend on the cyclists. This is not a supported ride, so there's no cost to sign up.

sounds cool, but don't know if i'm up for that yet as I haven't even gotten on my bike yet. just brought it to planet bike yesterday to get a tuning and new inner tubes. that weekend is also my b-day weekend. going to go out on monday with one of my friends probably to the D&R canal towpath.
