The Historian and I are planning a Saturday-Sunday tour route of 80 miles or so for for October 6th and 7th. We are looking for other cyclists to join us, so get in touch if you're interested. One day or both, or you can meet up with us along the route. A group of around 5 or 6 cyclists would be good. If you're interested, PM me.
Nobody will be dropped. I think we're looking at an average pace of maybe 11 mph. That's negotiable, and will depend on the cyclists. This is not a supported ride, so there's no cost to sign up.
Latest details are at the Neils on Wheels blog, including a route map that's pretty close to being final. I need to drive the first half and make sure it's safe for cycling.
