I placed an order at evans for a specialized hardrock sport disc 2007 model. No point in getting the 2008 model when I can get the 2007 model with disc for £100 less.
I am thinking of putting road tyres on it when I go and collect in on friday. I can get it done there and then but I am not sure how doing that will really benefit me. I do want a smooth fast ride but I want to have to also work hard. I have some skinny legs I want to build up. I want to get back into athletics (100m 200m) again just to contribute to me keeping fit aswell as vist the gym 3-4 times a week and ride. I hear how road tyres are bad in the rain thats why I am not sure whether to get them.
Another thing that is bothering me is locks for my bike. I've seen how people can get through the thickest locks and I can't be having that because certain places I will be going won't allow for the bike to be kept inside premises.
I will be riding mainly in the london area and probably out towards some parts of essex and kent.
