Does anyone have any information on any MTB trails around Lake Wallenpaupack in Northeastern PA?
I grew up in Pike County PA, my rents live in Milford. Its been about 10 years since I've ridden NEPA, but maybe I can help. I don't know much about riding in Wayne county, but there is a good deal of trails in Monroe county, in the area of East Stroudsburg University and the Delaware Water Gap. A bit of a haul from your area, but worth it if you enjoy typical rooty, rocky north eastern style single track. Check out Glen Park and Big Pocono State Park, during the late 90's they had several trails open to cyclists.
On the other side of the Delaware River, in NJ there are some of my favorite trails in Sussex county at Stokes State Forest and at High Point Monument. Last time I rode there was about 6 yrs ago and every trail was open to riders with the exception of the Appalachian Trail.
Sorry I don't have anything more local to your area. A suggestion I found useful was to call bike shops around the Pocono area and ask them if they could provide info on trails or point me in a direction that could.
