Yes, I know how to spell. I was under the impression that that was the RyanF spelling/pronunciation of such things.

If I'm wrong, I blame waterrockets.

I would have thought that would have been a good subtle BF reference.

....now my Grammar is getting affected. I need to stop reading the internet. Seriously.

The website says Zabriskie will be riding for CSC. When does he move over to Slipstream? Or has he already?

Me too, doing the 1/2/3s, then going to stick around to snap some photos and see the sights. Look for the guy in the avatar...

Probably at the end of 2007.

IIRC, in a similar situation, Levi Leipheimer was doing December 2006 Discovery training rides while wearing full Gerolsteiner kit to fulfill his contract obligations.

Almost correct. There are exceptions.

A friend of mine rode for TIAA-Cref in 2006. Vaughters started his 12 month contract in Nov. 2005, because his previous team was out of money and he needed to get paid. Consequently, he only got paid until October 2006.

My brother in law rode for Toyota-United in 2006 and was able to end his contract early, yet get fully paid, so that he would not have any conflicts with clothes or bikes at the Discovery camp in December. If your current team wants to be jerks, they can prohibit you from even attending an early camp like that since most contracts do run January through December.

Don't be surprised though if Zabriskie is riding for the Slipstream guys or vice versa in Greenville. Levi rode his butt off for George last year, even though they were wearing different jerseys.

I'll do what I can, but my loyalties are with the Medalist Sports gang. And then to VeloPress.

OK, watch for it. jeez, how can I pass up $10?

There are only 32 starters signed up for the TT (as of 4pm Friday), so it's sometime between 11 and noon.
I haven't seen the start sheet yet.

The first 22 go off at 2-minute intervals. The last 10 go off at 3-minutes intervals.

Check www.usacyclingchampionships.com

uh oh. you do realize that my limit is 10$, which i see you've already hit:

We are back on the small circuit. The shoulders of the leaders are starting to sway just slightly.
Three riders lead by 2:15 over a chase group of two. (Wren and Ramsay). The field still urking about at 3:00. Correct.
46.3 miles into the race, the gap is 2:40 as various chaser attempts begin to launch from the field. the breakaway picked a slightly quicker line down the hill.
Daniel Ramsay of Successful Living/Parkpre is attacking the field.
We're descending again. Gap is now 2:15
Let's call him PAT McCarty now since that's what he goes by. Jonathan is his given first name, the rider from Slipstream. Sorry Patrick.

I finished 9th in the Cat 5 race.
2nd out of SC riders, so I got a medal!
I'm pretty happy with this being my 3rd race ever.

Apparently, everything was going well until we crested Paris Mt. the last time. Then we lost signal and didn't regain it before the finish.
Sorry if it messed up anyone's reading.

What a cool event in a cool town though! Party's in 35 minutes. Flight home tomorrow. Bummer.

I ended up in Greenville by accident this weekend. Had a GREAT time at the races. Got to see all seven laps from 6 different places.

Levi dominated the pack.

I'm ready to move to Greenville.

No kidding. If I had $1 for every time I heard someone say that last weekend, I'd be rich.
