We're probably only going to do the metric now. M needs to really get a long "brick" workout in, so will do an hour run after the metric. And I got knocked on my butt by an intestinal bug that I expect will pass by the weekend, but I probably won't be strong enough yet for the full century.

Yes, I'll be there! Waited until pretty much the last to decide, but now I'm paid up and committed (or should be!).

I'll be wearing my bikeforums.net "50+" jersey (yeah, the one for us old folks!). Never been to Poway before, but will try to find the meeting place: "Western Cowboy Movie Looking Store."

I guess that means that it looks like a place where you could rent Western Cowboy Movies? Something like that . . . Never cared much for those "Eastern Cowboy Movies" anyway.

Regardless, I'll be on the century course, riding at a fairly moderate pace (probably 15 - 16 mph ave.).

Rick / OCRRIt's pretty easy to find. I'll be wearing my BF jersey.

I showed up early last year and there were a lot of people in the lots already.

I'm out :=( I'm still layed up sick in bed today. This morning was the worse I felt in the last 3 days, and sickets I have been in YEARS. We came very close to going to the hospital. But it looks like I am over the worst now (the constant bathroom trips have finally stopped). But no way I will be strong enough to ride Sunday.

This may my only chance to drop you. With some luck. :p

Sorry to hear that, Mark. This will be my first TdP without you.

Hi,

I'll be in San Diego early tomorrow morning, but not to do Poway. I'll be on Fiesta Island doing a whole 20K.

Hope all of you have fun. Also hope that it's less windy than last year.

Don't forget your bib number/package if you've pre-registered. I almost did. Had too many day-of ride package pickups recently. :p
