If you're new to bikes, or even to mountain bikes, I think you should stay away from buying a sight-unseen, unridden bike on eBay that no one has ever heard of. It is a pretty sure bet you'll regret it. Ebay is a pretty self-regulating market, and it's virtually guaranteed that you won't find an AMAZING deal that no one else has seen... if prices stay really low on a bike, there is usually a good reason.

You'll be better off buying a new or used bike locally -- if you have any friends who ride, buy them a beer (or a chocolate milk, depending on your age!) and get them to come along to check out anything you might want to purchase. Test ride as extensively as you can. And if you're only looking to spend a few hundred bucks, steer clear of full-suspension and get a (more) decent hardtail. Just my two cents...

thanks for the two cents, I have already purchased the bike, I started on this forum the last day of the sale, and had to decide before I had much information, I know thats not the best way to go about it, so hopefully the seller is a honest person and the bike is what he says it is, anyway I should have the bike in about a week and then I will know more. Thanks for all the input, if anyone who has ever seen this bike before or knows a website or anywhere to learn more about it please let me know. Thanks

cant find any info, but when you get the bike, take pictures of everything and post them (do you know how? just ask) and we'll tell you whats good on it, and what you'll want to (consider) replace(ing). hopefully its a good bike though

and when you get it, take of that stupid kickstand (hopefully the previous owner put it there
