Wicking would be cool. I don't own any jerseys and ride in synthetic t-shirts in any case.
Okay, it looks like there is definite interest in a women's fit tee. It shall be done! :)
(There may also be a synthetic (read: wicking) shirt in the mix.)

I like this one best. The lettering and symbol is easy to read from a distance

A family tree sounds really cool. What do you think, fuzzbox? (I like the new font, BTW.)
From a bottom-up with a trunk? Like a maple? No thanks.
I'd prefer keeping bikes connected via their predecessor. Apologies, don't have a fancy-schmancy graphics software, but if you scribble on a piece of paper the following connections, keeping in mind that angle and direction doesn't matter, and it could end-up looking like a wheel-like tree (with one bike in the center and the other bikes connecting making the spokes):
1. Big front wheel bike ---> step-through---> racing bike---> fixie as one possible branch,
1a. racing bike--->tandem as a smaller branch, racing bike---> perhaps (i.e, optional) a bicycle with drop handlebars with panniers (representing commuters, touring, and utility bicycles).
2. big front wheel bike --->mountain bike--->BMX another branch,
3. big front wheel bike-->tricycle---> adult tricycle utility bike a third branch (or hmmm, was it tricycle----->bicycle??????? ),
4. Recumbents and unicycles are unique enough to be well-discernible in a graphic, but not sure where to put them; recumbent from the racing bike and unicycle it's own branch off the big-front-wheel-bicycle?
5. Likewise, don't worry about getting all the other hybrids in (cross bikes, single-speed, commuters with flat bars, etc), because it would be impossible to get every bike type represented accurately in a t-shirt graphic.
Connect the bikes on the tree with chain links. Don't connect the last bike of a branch with the last bike of another branch.

....can't we do both....in one?
WickId (http://www.wickidgear.com/products.aspx)Women's V-Cap Sleeve #2021 is a sweet shirt. I own it for another club and actually wear it out of the house! Wicking, long enough to cover my gut (what is it about "women's" shirts that render them completely inappropriate for actual women?), sporty, nominally v-neck.
If it's long-sleeve, I like the Brooks Podium 1/2-zip (http://www.brooksrunning.com/prod.php?k=26493&p=BSIWL791). Ladies, order it a size large :)
Oh yeah, and pink sucks. I would vote for a darker color, no white either pls.
As for a design? I like the bike-olution one.

Interesting idea, but it wouldn't fit unless the bikes were tiny and by then it gets detailed and harder to see. However I just got an idea.

just a thought, you could simplify the bikes and make that work.
maybe not as simple as the olympics style icons, but same idea. maybe a funny angle is put little adam and eve on bikes at the base of the tree. LOL!
i like that family tree/evolution idea. go for it!

Coming in late, but YAY! Count me in for a women's-specific tee (because I'm kinda skinny and the men's cut shirts look just plain silly on me). I'd really like a wicking material too.
I guess I should go see what the design submissions are, eh? But honestly, I'll buy whatever everyone else votes on, I'm not picky that way. Just on the fit and material :)

Just my $0.02 here. This is a T-shirt design. Lets keep it on a T-Shirt. There are plenty of BF jerseys around. But I for one don't wear jerseys and am addicted to T-Shirts and don't want anything different.
The people that want "wicking" or "high-performance sportswear" should really look towards jerseys. Please, just let us Freds & Wilmas have our T-Shirts.
Thank you :)

I have a wicking t-shirt that's pretty Freddy - it was free with a box of Vector cereal :) Great shirt though! That's why I requested wicking material. I'm not really much of a jersey person, although I do have a couple I use on longer rides - it just seems like overkill for commuting. But the wicking t-shirt was a revelation!
Hi everyone, I have one more design in me. What do you think? JR.http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t266/wjr_photos/infin5.jpg

Hi Brad, I'm having a temporary computer glitch:( but should have it fixed soon. Stay tuned.......JR.
I wish somebody would make a t-shirt with this saying on it....I like it. :)

This design incorporates an endless mobius strip. Other types of bikes can be added if needed. It can be printed with 2 colors (Black and White) and/or a third contrasting color on any colored shirt. Let me know what you think.:) JR. (JRrestore)

Something like this, if your going for the thick spokes. Sorry about the hassel, it just doesn't look right.

That design would get my vote if there were only about 5 bikes or so. Right now its just too cluttered.

Just a thought, got inspired from JR's design, not really anything. It'd be cooler with people riding the bikes.

ok, i'll see what i can do when i gets home tonight, if, by that time, someone hadn't made up a poll for this yet.
see ya! :)
I'll set it up this evening, it's kinda my job to do that.
I think I posted this on the wrong thread. BTW, Brad and Brian - -Photos are OK if they are B&W and posterized or done in a coarse 45-line screen. And two-color gradientscan be done if you load the creen right. Anyway, here's my contribution. It's not camera-ready yet, as I've been buried with job-related graphic design work the last couple weeks:

ok heres my entry..hmm...dont know when the last entry date is so i hope im not too late with this. anyways..tried to make it stand out with the red..but keeping the design simple. you didnt mention what color the t-shirts would be..but i think this would look great on a white tee.

Actually, the thread in question was moved to Trash, due to the complaints about the image that you have now reposted. If it offends you, why post it again?

Look at the bigger picture...
People voted for the nicest shirt. I think the vendors just need some help getting this thing off the ground. Offering a shirt....in wicking fabric, in sizes that more people can wear (perhaps even on a non-controversial web-page) ...may actually help sales AND promote B/F.

BikeForums is often controversial. I'm sure that Brad would like to offer more options, but the fact remains that this is a simple t-shirt, and the goal was to keep the price as low as possible, so they would be affordable to the broadest range of members. Brad is offering members a shirt (that they designed and voted on) at a reduced rate, and the parent company has not only given its approval, but they declined to take any percentage, in order to keep the price down.
You've made it clear that you won't order one, and that one of his other shirts offends you. What more do you want?
Well, that scared everyone away...
