I am having a hard time finding a pair of road shoes that fit properly. At first I thought that I needed to go to the next bigger size, but after buying a pair of sneakers recently, I discovered that width is the problem...not the size. Who makes/sells road shoes in extra wide sizes like a 10 1/2 4E?

Hi,
I am an 11 3E. I use the Sidi Mega shoes in 47.5; that or a 48 just might fit you.

Sidi Mega or Lake are the shoes to go. I bought a pair of the Sidi Mega in 4E and love em, they feel like slippers.

I'm a 12.3-13 4E and i just got Lakes, cx220 Xtreme in 48, and i love them!!! they fit great! at performance bike you can get them for a $100 or so. great deal if you dont want to spend $200 on the sidi's.

i just got a pair of sidis yesterday...they are really adjustable and were by far the most comfortable on my foot

it was fun to go clip-less today :)

One more late vote for the Lakes. I go 11.54E US sizing and a pair of Lakes fit well. As others have pointed out the price isn't bad either.

Surprisingly the Specialized Body Geometry series seems to have a pretty wide toebox as well. You may want to give them a try.

I consistently hear raves about the Sidis but the $. Whew!
