I'm looking for a 2nd bike, mainly to be used for indoor trainer time over the Winter. Wouldn't hurt to have one I could also enjoy to ride once in a while.

My main ride is a Calfee (carbon)

This bike has a lot of what I want:
correct size
Campy

I'm currently the high bidder but not sure what this is worth towards the top end.

New that bike sold for 2000 grand which is not chump change.

If it fit me and was what what I was looking for, I'd pay up to 1200 for it.

That bike is similar to my 01 EV2 that I race. I really love the Bianchi geometry and the handling is confidence inspiring in a crowd. I could go on and on... but

The only two negatives I see are
1 - The Levitation wheelset. Not a bad wheelset if you get the late 01 updated model that had a 20 spoke rear wheel that was way stiffer than the 16 spoke model. I've owned them (16 front and rear) and didn't care for them. I'm not a big guy at 160 pounds but do generate quite a bit of power and that wheel wasn't stout enough, period. They're actually still in the basement with 30 actual miles on them if anyone wants to make an offer :D
2 - That model bike came with a steel steerer fork. Not a big deal for a second bike but not what you'd want to race on unless you were super heavy.

Good Luck

If it is in fact brand new never owned, you can get them on sale in several shops for about $1200 on sale. Normal retail on this bike was about $1800 to $2100 depending on component spec. So your current bid is good.

Well I'm still the high bidder at $810.
Seems too cheap to me as this is brand new/never used.

what is the grouppo alone worth?

It is perfect size for me and I would just want to change the pedals to be the same as my main bike.

Is this one of those too good to be true situations?

just checked and a new Centaur build kit alone goes for about $1,000.
Daytona is the same thing albeit a few years old, but it is 10 spd. and beand new.

OK!

You've convinced me. I'm logging on to bid on it right now.

I would go maybe around a $1000 for it. Nice bike!
