Got an email from the LA Wheelman (below) and can't see any post about it here in BF so now there is one.
Anybody for a Sunday ride of ~65, ~100 or ~125 on 9/23?
Grand Tour LITE, Sunday, 9/23/07
The Los Angeles Wheelmen Bicycle Club has opened registration for the Grand Tour LITE, on Sunday, September 23.
This informal club century starts from Malibu and offers three options:
Metric Century goes up Pacific Coast Hwy. to Port Hueneme for lunch near the beach, and returns by the same route on P.C.H.;
Full Century takes the same route as the Metric to Port Hueneme, and adds a loop around the Ventura Oxnard area before returning via P.C.H.;
Double Metric Century takes the high road, climbing Latigo Cyn., lunching in Moorpark, then heading for the beach with another food and rest stop in Port Hueneme before returning down P.C.H.
Registration is open on Active.com: http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1477313
Or for more information and a printable registration form to be mailed:

We are late in starting registration for the Grand Tour LITE this year, but the delay served a purpose. We arranged some improvements, most notably a more convenient starting location, with ample free parking and better facilities. See the details on the web pages listed above.
