Foo - What are your Labor Day weekend plans?

For those of you that actually have a Labor Day (that's Labour Day in Canadian if there is such a thing) what are you going to do?

I plan to either paddle the river or go for a bike ride on Sat. then have friends over for a cookout. On Sun. I am doing a 50 mile group ride then paddling the tandem canoe with my daughter to a party at a friends home on another river. On Mon. I hope to do a family bike ride.

So what are you doing?

Saturday am ride from Hershey, then heading up to Rochester, NY to visit the maternal unit.

Any Monday rides up there Tude?

Going to take it easy...maybe BBQ some chicken and open a nice bottle of wine I've been saving. And put up with contractors working on my kitchen on Saturday.

This afternoon - go look at mtb's cause 07 clearance sales going on. Short 15-20mi ride later this evening.

Saturday - 45mi ride in the AM, then over to Umstead for some hiking in the afternoon w/family. Grilling in the evening...big ole thick tuna steak for me; big/thick, juicy steak for the guys, veggies.

Sunday - Group ride in AM, afternoon? Take mtb's out for a spin??? (if purchased)

Monday - AM ride of undetermined route, length. Family cookout - more grilling:)

My plans involve watching pr0n and drinking beer.

Training for my next TT, and visiting my mother on her birthday on Monday. :)

Not sure yet. I am suppose to be doing work right now, but its art class so yea. I was thinking of building up a bike...:D


edit: I may, if the weather allows, go on a long stretch of highway, and just cruise with the windows down. Engine purring at 3k rpms, 75mph, music blasting.

Sat: Wake up early to see the meteor shower. Taking my friend and her new roadie bike riding, and perhaps help her with a few maintenance basics
Sun: Hopefully get a very early start and take off somewhere by myself for a few hours. Don't know if it will be the roadie or the Kona.
Mon: Back to work...

I'm flying up to Rochester tonight for the weekend to help my sister move into her new house! I won't have my bike :(

Friday: sneaking out on time today and either riding the bike or playing tennis
Saturday: early morning bike ride (20-25 miles), then helping out on the latest home renovation project
Sunday: ditto
Monday: ditto; but will probably come in to work for a little while to get a head start on next week, which promises to be a busy one

Tonight: One of my best girlfriends is coming up for Champaign to take me out as a belated birthday present.
Tomorrow: Project Revolution Concert with paradox and my best friend of over 10 years.
Sunday: Work then possibly ride to the lake front.
Monday: Celebrate paradox's 24th birthday.

Monday= Recover. Ride around town. Myabe buy some shoes.

50 miles Saturday - then prep Jeep for next trip
30 Miles Sunday - more Jeep prep.
?? miles Monday - depends on how I feel. Hang out with 2 out of 3 sons. :)
