If I am on the middle ring and the smallest cog and standing and cranking hard it sounds like the chain is slipping. I have a 105.

Is the derailuer flexing towards the wheel and causing it to try and change cogs?

Any info would be great.

I so wanted to say change to Campy :)
Seriously though, are you sure thats where the noise is coming from? Could the chain be rubbing on your front derailer, or maybe the noise is coming from your crank or BB? I used to ride 105 and never had a problem at all that wasn't my fault with poor adjustments on my behalf!

if it just happens in the smallest cog the limit screw may be a touch to loose or, more likely, tight and it is trying to push the chain off the cog.
