Can't remember if I paid anything for this bike, might have gotten it in trade for lunch. But it's time to make room in the garage. Instead of going to the hassle of writing an ad. I'll just give it away to a good home. Located near Daly City Bart. If no one grabs it I'll leave it at BART.

Besides having tires that are low on air it's in ridable condition. But you should do or have a thorough safety check done to the bike before riding. Made in Japan, rack and frame pump.

Hey man, thanks again for the bike. It is in such a great condition, i bet it's worth a pretty penny. I brought it up to Davis because I had to return the truck and rode about 10 miles on that thing. This will hold me over with the road bike bug until my 79 Traveler gets up and running. My gf is going to love this 80 Traveler. So awesome!!

here we go, the other pictures are just some of the components. The bike belongs to my girlfriend now and she loves it. She forbids me to even think about selling it, nor would I think about it. I have a 79 Traveler myself so we're a matching pair!

Nice. I like the kickstand. Believe it or not, I was at Valencia Cyclery and saw that new kickstands are selling for $47.99! The price tag even said "yes, really" on it.

Why so much? Carbon/metal? :D

Nope, just plain aluminum. They did have a German-ish sounding brand embossed on them.
They look just like the ones that come on a lot of bikes (including my Schwinn Super Sport).
I'll take a close-up picture.

They looked strikingly similar to these...

I guess they could have been the ESGE/Pletscher double-legged stand which would account for the price.

Ah...yes.

I just put an adjustable height kickstand on my commuter. It works well..

Oh nice Traveler, BoxerRumble. I like to see an old bike find a good home...
