Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

So I started doing Around the World exercise set, minus push ups, couple month ago. Still don't have a six pack, but what a difference it made on a bike! I can ride for days arms resting on the bars holding the hoods. I call it poor mans TT position. Position is slightly higher then if I was in the drops. I can't ride in the drops because of the cast, but I am sure if I could I would also be much more comfortable then before. I do them three times a week. Started with 10 repetitions per exercise and almost dying, now I can do 15 without pushing myself too hard.

I don't know what this "around the world" exercise is, but that's pretty much my standard position. I have a pretty big saddle to bar drop, so I actually have a flat back in this position. I don't really get any lower in the drops, but I can generate more power.
