Last Saturday I did ride the Hotter'n Hell Hundred, which is a 102 mile ride at Wichita Falls, Texas. The main reason I am writing about this ride is the number of riders. The report was that 10,205 riders were counted going past the start line. During the 102 miles there were people all around. Most of my rides I eventually find myself either alone or only with a couple of friends. How many riders do you normally find on an organized century?

Nowhere near that Number but for the Largest ride in the Uk- The London to Brighton which is about 54 miles- There are 33,000 official entries. On that ride- you are never alone. Especially at the traffic snarl ups.

BikeA,

Nice ride, isn't it. My daughter and I and a number of other friends did the 100 again this year.

If you are interested, there is an HnH Survivor's thread in the Texas sub-forum on the Regional board above.

See you next year?

I am registered for the BDB and the Arkie 100. Great end of the year. What about the Delta Tour?
