Columbia Triathlon - May 18, 2008

So...anyone doing it? I just signed up today and I'm pretty excited. It is going to be my first triathlon and I'm stoked I have the next 8 months to train and get ready for a good time.

I was going to this year. But life got in the way unfortunately. It was to be my first Tri as well. I had a buddy who signed up for it as well and he did do it. His report is here (http://www.tonystocker.com/) Just look under Race blog.

I rode the bike route with him a lot during his training. It is a challenging course for your first tri, but certainly achievable.

That was a pretty good report on the race. I'm definitely going to put everything I've got into training for this triathlon and hopefully many more to come after it. I'll be racing in next semester's collegiate season too so that will help with the training a good bit.
