Anyone have an Electra Townie that they could give me dimensions from? I'd love angles too, but chainstay length, eff. toptube length, etc, would be great.
thanks,
spencer

Can't help you. What I do in such circumstances is pull a profile view into CAD and then draw the basic geometry, mostly just the centers of things like BBs and HTs, etc... Then I usually have to rescale it since the picture may have a scale in cad of say 5 inches. After that I can directly measure every feature.

If one doesn't have CAD, the same kind of thing can be done with a photocopier, a ruler, and a calculator. I have never made a copy of anyone else's work, but it does help a lot to develop a feel of how designs relate to one another.
