I want to try out a Surly Cross Check and check its fit.

I have a surly crosscheck and general rule of thumb is to get 1 size smaller than your road bike.. I ride a 60cm road bike and a 58cm crosscheck and they fit the same.. This is due to the higher bottom bracket for extra clearance when riding off road.. Jenson usa has crosschecks in the showroom in Ontario, I know they also have a showroom in Corona..

Thanks Frank, but the new MTB ate my budget. I still want to try one out, but I won't have the means to purchase for awhile.

I picked up my Surly LHT at Pacific Coast Cycles. I also hear that Adams Ave Bikes carries them also.
I should show up for Sunday's ride on the LHT. Don't know how much pain it will be, but it could be fun. :)
