Mountain Biking - dry bike off?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A quick wipe down doesn't hurt, but I usually let mine drip dry overnight in the warm garage.
Just make sure to relube your chain (after it dries completely).

I usually dry mine down if they have been out in the rain/been on a real muddy ride. My mountain bike is aluminum-framed so it doesn't require as much care in this sense as does my steel-framed road bike. I wipe down the road bike and lube the chain and other areas that need to be lubed. I do the same with the mountain bike, though it isn't as high a priority.
